Don't we all. There was a thread about it in this section of the forums. I believe all that WB has available are videotape copies that were used for the DVD's, though the show was filmed on 35mm I believe. It's very sad that apparently the elements to make an HD master simply don't seem to exist anymore.

I just went ahead and pre-ordered this, and added a couple of items to my cart, to get free shipping.

I haven't ordered from Amazon in a while.. When you choose free shipping for a pre-ordered item, and have other items in your cart (That are already released), has Amazon been shipping those items when the pre-order item releases, or do they still ship them separately, ahead of the pre-order?

I don't have Prime and my experiences with Amazon have varied lately. Sometimes they will hold the order until all items are available, other times they will ship separately.

Months ago I pre-ordered Serial Mom and Streets of Fire which were scheduled for release May 9 and May 16 respectively. The order page originally showed separate estimated ship dates but eventually changed to one date for both items in May. My Amazon order page has been showing "preparing for shipment" since last Monday (as I just wrote that I checked again and it finally changed to "shipping today").

I also just pre-ordered Alien: Covenant 4K and added a $5 DVD to get free shipping. The $5 DVD shows a separate arrival date for early next week yet says "not yet shipped."

I like how Amazon has finally lowered their free shipping back down to $25, but I hate how they hold the items hostage like this. It is almost like they are saying "you better get Prime or suffer the agony of not knowing when you will receive your package!" Since I appreciate reliability and consistency in a company, I really have to finally give up on ordering direct from Amazon US (Amazon UK is MUCH better).

The DVDs where on sale at Best Buy last time i was there a couple of weeks ago not sure if its still priced the same or not but it was one of those cardboard setups in the middle of the store i have a few of them already but not the entire season wishing they would just make an entire boxset on BD though.

My set just shipped, and Amazon sent this set in a bubble mailer? I would have never guessed something this big wouldn't ship in a box. Did Amazon abandon boxes all together now? What the hell?

The slipcase is a little bent up, I'm sure the discs are fine.
