When I saw the 3D trailer, the 3D layers appeared as medium to high medium 3D layering. Looks promising in 3D.

It's being released June 2, 2017, the same day as Wonder Woman 3D.

I do hope that fox decides to release a 3D bluray because they didn't for trolls but are doing one for the boss baby. Still who knows if this will get a 3D bluray it certainly should since it's being released in 3D in theatres and because it is made in the 1:85:1 aspect ratio. Though again it's all up in the air boss baby may have gotten one only because it did so well on opening weekend and this movie is only predicted to make 30 million on its opening weekend. I do hope this makes enough money to warrant a 3D bluray release and a sequel as there are 12 books based on captain underpants.
