Who loves the Friday the 13th cover? - Blu-ray Forum

I just think the Friday the 13th cover looks sick! Much better than the old DVD one!

When I first saw it I thought it said Friday the 3th. However, I've come around and don't think it's bad, though I don't love it.

Looks pretty good. One thing I liked about the other one was not being able to see the clothes though. That is, I liked it a little better as just an outline of a person.

I want to like it. But the old cover art is amazing. I feel somehow that the nostalgic value disappears.

I don't like it.

But... I don't love the movie anyway... I know lots of people do.

I wish more original poster art was used for the covers of Blu Ray. Good movie posters make you want to watch the movie.

I dont like the cover much but oh well what can you do as long as the movie looks good on blu-ray thats all that matters to me.

I like it a lot. It pleases me to know that at least some of the early Friday the 13th movies will make it to blu-ray. We also need FREDDY (I have the first Nightmare - got it pre-owned from Jurassic_Pork).

I like it but prefer the original artwork, but hey it's coming to blu so no complaints. Just waiting for the rest of the series to arrive.

I've got mixed feelings on it. It definitely could be a lot worse. My ideal box would be the original poster but without ANY text (title included).

Of course I think most art would fare better without text. It makes the image seem more powerful.

Its ok. What I dont get is why they feel the need to change the artwork and not use the original poster? There has to be a reason why the poster art was used and most of the time it is the best. Some of the best Film posters around are alway from horror movie. O well atleast its coming out to blu.
