The TW5000 is the global model number for the HomeCinema6500/ProCinema7500 which are geared to the US market.

I have a ProCinema1080UB which is the same as the TW2000. In fact, the product model number on my unit actually says TW2000.

Well the US Home version is probably going to street around $2500. The Pro usually has a $1000 markup because it comes with an extra bulb and mount.

If you are in the US, I must stress don't buy the TW5000 because Epson USA will not honor the warranty. They will only back the US marketed models, the 6500 and 7500.

it's similar to what they are doing in the US market with the Pro and Home versions. other than case color they are essentially the same projector.

The "home cinema" 6500UB & "Pro" 7500UB are similar but there are some differences. Here's what you get over the 6500UB.

6500UB has a white case, 7500UB black case.

• Anamorphic Scaling preserves original 2.40:1 widescreen with no black bars
• Color Isolation feature for more accurate color adjustments
• Preset color space selection to allow original color reproduction
• Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) Certified
• 3-year warranty (2-year on the 6500UB)
• Ceiling mount, spare lamp and cable cover included
