The link doesn't work for me... any chance someone could type it and put it in spoilers for me or just pm me directly.

Edit: Never mind... saw that a thread was just created for the title in question. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=293107

I almost started a new thread but I didn't want to be the one to ruin the surprise (per why I double spoiler ef it) because some people get super angry about title leaks for some reason.

In the case of Final Exam, you're not missing much. It's completely bloodless and boasts arguably the most arbitrary killer in the history of slasher films.

Received my first shipment from the sale this morning. For those of you that collect slips, these arrived WITH slips:

Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Jeepers Creepers
Carrie
The Exorcist III

Humanoids from the Deep
Rock n Roll High school
Galaxy of Terror
Forbidden World
Battle Beyond the Stars
Star Crash
Star Crash and Battle Beyond the Stars, easily

I rather enjoy everything else. Star Crash is only worth it for the MST3K levels of absurdity and the Hoff's makeup

Speaking of Vampire's Kiss, my facebook feed keeps trying to push a shirt with this on it. It's pretty awesome I must admit

Producer Richard Rubinstein owns these films. Scream has already gone on record saying unless he becomes reasonable with his asking price we will never see these by a smaller label like SF, Arrow, etc. It costs thousands of dollars just to screen Dawn of the Dead publicly, which is why it's extremely rare. He also just spent over a couple million dollars to convert DotD to 3D because that was necessary...

I'm aware, but...

Not too surprising considering the Deadline report from 2013 claimed this conversion cost somewhere in the $6 million (!) dollar range, which is unbelievable considering the original budget was $685,000.

I believe Mark Pavia also hinted at a Night Flier Blu-Ray release when he appeared on the Shock Waves podcast in support of Fender Bender.

Now I just need that Mark Pavia hint to pay off in a big way.

With the announcement of Hell Night, it's apparent that Jeff was up to his old tricks again in that recent podcast, as he said that they 'would love to get Hell Night out' (I suppose he wasn't lying in that regard, but the sense was that they didn't have the title). Jeff/Cliff also said:

- Alligator was a dream title; 'we don't have a handle on that one'.
- 'No path' to Trick Or Treat, Fright Night 2, The Keep, Maximum Overdrive.
- 'We really did try' for Dawn of the Dead, but it remains a 'never say never'.

Of course they're probably telling the truth in regard to most of these, but you never know. I wouldn't be surprised to see Alligator, given that Lionsgate may no longer have the rights.

IMO, I thought X-Ray/Schizoid were both quite weak, while Bad Dreams/Visting Hours is probably the best combo of the bunch, and Session 9 and Lifeforce are the two best (or most enjoyable) films in there overall

I really want to check out Vampire's Kiss. I've always been a huge Nicolas Cage fan even though he's had his share of bad movies but most actors do. I've always been able to tap into the brilliance of Cage's manic performances pretty easily.

Follow it up with Deadfall. That is probably the most batshit of them all

I re-visited Con Air and Snake Eyes for the first time in decades recently too

The others in that order didn't originally come with slips, so none to report just yet. Hopefully another order will arrive tomorrow.

Cool I'll definitely check that one out.

Con Air is awesome but I wasn't a big fan of Snake Eyes. Face Off is one of my favorite action films along with The Rock.

Wild at Heart, the highly underrated Matchstick Men and Leaving Las Vegas are some of my other favorites of Cage's.

I thought that Radish bit was from the Bad Lieutenant sequel. I have seen and loved Final Exam! I must have blocked out the Radish piece to keep it cooler.

Thoughts on Red Rock West? Possibly my favorite Cage. Love me some southwestern noir.
