No one ever said what it was. Remember this was very early internet. Stuff wasn't as easily accessible as it is now.
No where have I ever seen written what was actually different, just that it was.
And nowadays, no one even remembers that it was different!
I remember seeing MOTP in theaters and I bought the VHS when it came out (once it got past the insane $100 price for rental uses). I never remember anything being different from the theatrical version.

Not like Aladdin where I remembered immediately the switched out lyric to the opening song!

Hello, I'm a little new to this "scene" so there are a few phrases I'm not familiar with like "pressed", "burned" (I know you can burn files and folders to just about any disc but I don't know whats being referred to here) and "MOD", would really appreciate an explanation for these. Thanks!

P.S. HOLY SHIZA MOTP ON BR YAAAAASSS!

Pressed: Like a standard blu-ray you buy in the store/online (more protection and longer-lasting)
Burned: Like what you could do at home (prone to degradation)
MOD: Manufactured On Demand - just means they aren't going to have massive amounts of inventory on store shelves but the discs will be pressed to meet current demand

That is great news. Although; I have BMOTP & BTAS (Volume 1 to 3) on DVD already for years.

I would love to get Batman Subzero released on Blu-ray. That would be amazing.

You're lucky, the DVD I got was at 4:3 so I haven't seen the film in its proper aspect ratio since I saw it in theaters.

I wouldn't ship without payment first either for what it's worth.

But with a 4x3 DVD, you have been seeing the film in its proper aspect ratio.

It's the theatrical version that was hastily chopped and cropped.

However, the Blu will give you the choice so it will never be a problem again.

I saw the movie twice in the theater and bought the VHS immediately upon release. The ending in both versions has always been the same.

Perhaps some people mixed up the film with the novelization (or the mini-comic adaptation that originally came with the VHS), as has happened before when people swear they remember something in a film. The book does have differences, although I don't recall anything specific about the ending that's different from the film. I still have it somewhere but it's been forever since I last read it.

Oddly Enough, if you add the bluray and t-shirt to your cart individually, it's cheaper than the bundle by a few bucks as long as the shirt you select is the $24.95 sizes they have. Still too pricey, just got the bluray.

Pre-ordered this movie. I JUST bought this a week ago today, but screw it, this movie's good enough for a second time.

When did this happen? I have it on VHS and don't recall any comic coming with it. Mine is the white clam shell that Disney movies typically came in. Was there a different release of it?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if there was an animated alternate ending, the WFonline guys would have made mention of it somewhere. They got screen grabs and pans of just about every other second of the film.

It also came separate as a much larger premium format comic with pewter figurines.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this once they have it in hand. I'm going to hold off a bit before I commit to picking it up. I've never had a problem ordering from WBshop, but no matter how much I love Batman that price + shipping is a bit steep for this old skinflint While I would have loved it to have some special features, that's what makes YouTube so great when they don't
