FYI, looks like Amazon may have lowered their prices in several Scream titles to prices lower than were offered in last weeks 5yr anniversary sale... for example The Thing is $15 currently.

Just ordered The Car for twenty bucks - not much of a discount but it's better than no discount. Don't have much hope for a slip but it's OK.

The Car never received a slip, so you should be okay.

I had such success with my blind buys during this sale that I'm tempted to grab a couple more from Amazon now that they've matched the sale prices. Still haven't watched Swamp Thing and am waiting for Schizoid/X-Ray. I can't think of anything else that I would reallllllly want. Maybe Scarecrows or Pumpkinhead II? I've seen Evil Speak and Witchboard recommended a lot but I don't know if they're for me.

If I loved I, Madman, the Slumber Party sequels, and the Psycho sequels from my order, which of the four above are most likely to be up my street?

Swamp Thing is the best of those four.

Evilspeak followed closely by Schizoid / X-Ray.

Did Scream announce when they will reveal the October lineup?

I hope it's really soon, I want to see what kind of artwork they did for Hell Night.

Probably not until next week, but if not then they are probably just going to wait until Comic Con in July.

In past years though October announcements are in June and the Comic Con announcements are for Nov & Dec with a few titles from the following year announced as well.

It will be next week into the week after, depending how early they start and how many titles there are.

Just got my order of 23 movies today!

Quicker shipping time to Canada than I expected! Unfortunately the post office and customs did everything they seemingly could to knock the living snot out of the package, but all discs and posters arrived unharmed and in good condition!

For anyone wondering, I bought most of the latest CE's (Firestarter, Robocop 2, Robocop 3, Dreamscape, Serial Mom and Tales from the Hood) and all arrived with their slip covers.

Well of course it's going to be flipped over, no point in having the slipcover art the same as the case. But depending on how much I like the new art I might pre order directly for the poster aswell.

For anyone interested, The Angry Red Planet is down to $13.83 on Amazon. It has been dropping by roughly .30 cents every few hours for a couple days. Today so far it's dropped $1.16.

I wonder why this keeps dropping? The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake has been dropping as well but not as often, it's down to $15.93.

I usually keep the nice new artwork on my SF releases. If it's an iconic theatrical art I actually like (The Thing, Tales from the Hood) then I will flip it but keep the slip on so I can see both when taking the disc out.

I kept the Scream artwork for Day of the Dead, The Fog, Assault on Precinct 13, and Jeepers Creepers 2.

The Fog's Scream artwork is excellent! Much better than the original artwork IMO

A lot, if not all drop, before bouncing back up. For example, Sleepaway Camp was $16.something over the weekend. It went up to like 19.something this week. Was 19.08 yesterday, is 18.64 now it'll eventually drop to whatever it's lowest point is before going all the way back up.

I've noticed this on Howling, Motel Hell, Dolls, and more. The change is often day to day too.
