Set in the late 1920s, The Age of Shadows follows the cat-and-mouse game that unfolds between a group of resistance fighters trying to bring in explosives from Shanghai to destroy key Japanese facilities in Seoul, and Japanese agents trying to stop them. A talented Korean-born Japanese police officer, who was previously in the independence movement himself, is thrown into a dilemma between the demands of his reality and the instinct to support a greater cause.

Going to have to keep an eye out for this, so much stuff I've missed out on over the last couple of years.

Finally! I've been waiting for what feels like forever since the initial announcement for this release. Having the DVD released first only added to my anticipation.

I assume this is just the theatrical cut? I wouldn't mind the 20+ added minutes back in, the train scene was one of my favorite parts of the film.

I never knew there was another cut of the film. If you don't mind, would you be able to share a link or two discussing it?

I have the US release and it's on the special features with Interview with the director. He talks about how he had to cut like 30-40 minutes and over 20 were from the train sequence or something like that. I can re-watch tonight and get the exact numbers

Edit: I didn't re-watch the whole interview, but the part of the train he said the completed film had a 40 minute sequence and that he had to cut 20 minutes of that out. Not sure what other parts were cut, that may be the only thing and I mis-remembered what i said above. I don't Youtube much, but I'm going to try and upload the interview for anyone that enjoyed the film. Always nice having more insight

On the Nova Media website they have the product details up and as part of the special features there are deleted scenes totalling 26:08. I'm guessing they will not be subtitled but it's better than nothing.

Already sold out at both Kimchi and Nova. There's a seller on eBay that I bought mine from that still has some for sale. The cost was more or less the same as ordering from Kimchi or Nova.
