I still wish they'd held the shot of Bane hanging with the Doctor a few more seconds to let us witness the plane's fuselage striking the ground. Seems a waste of a great practical shot the likes of which we won't see much more of. Maybe that was their intention but something about the way it struck the ground displeased them, or maybe it's for dramatic effect, denying us consequences to tease us, not sure.

Think all IMAX DMR films regardless of AR expansion have this in the credits. |

![]() it wasn't the cutting down of the movie that was the worst, it was the cropping of the 2.35 image to 4:3 that made it a tad visually vomit inducing. |

Back in the days when they didn't know how to do it properly. They still don't know but, hey, improvement's an improvement. I still say the best way to watch a film that isn't going to be shown in any film projection is Dolby Cinema.

Eh ... depends entirely on the venue, no two Dolby Cinema auditoriums are the same - if you took out the stupid vibrating recliners, removed the walls separating the rows, removed all ancillary light from the walls, Did not drop the screen nearly to floor level, had THX approved properly calibrated sound levels; then yes Dolby Cinema would be the "best"

The recliners in mine reinforce whatever's coming out of the subs, they don't "vibrate". |

I've yet to be wowed by any thing I've seen / heard at Tysons Dolby Cinema auditorium - it's such a mixed bag - enough is enough, I'd rather invest my time and money at Udvar Hazy (IMAX laser) or at Arclight Bethesda's Atmos screen(s) Out of curiosity what location is 'your' Dolby Cinema theater. I hate the fact that Dolby Cinema is largely an AMC exclusive - some day I'll check out a movie at the El Capitan |

AMC Burbank 16. One of the first ones. We were also one of the only Dolby Cinemas that got Rogue One in Dolby 3D. BTW: one of the cinemas in the complex has Atmos, Auro, & DTS:X. It's a room where studios test stuff. |

I simply HATE what Dolby and AMC did architecturally with their DC auditoriums. They needed to keep it simple and sleek like Dolby's corporate auditorium:
