I don't remember him ever having headphones on at anytime in the movie so that artwork is kinda bugging me. He always had the earbuds in.
His whole deal with the music was to drown out the "humm in the drum" so having headphones on would drown out everything else around him.

you're right. this is almost as bad as the Zavvi Saw steelbook with the cut off arm on the front.

Really? That slip is probably the most attractive slip I've seen in 2017. Artwork by Rory Kurtz, who has done some Mondo stuff in the past.

Good thing the slip is the only thing you see when it's on your shelf or on display then!

Very true. The artwork on the steelbook however, was created by the director's brother and was used on all production items while filming.

Back of Wright's director chair:

So do I like the artwork from an aesthetic standpoint? Nope.
Do I appreciate the choice to use it with it's personal connection to the film and filmmaking process? Absolutely.
Ultimately, does the artwork on the steelbook even matter when it comes housed inside a beautiful slip box? Not at all.

I'd actually be interested in this except for the fact that Film Arena charges darn near the cost of a steelbook itself as the price for shipping. Until they figure out a way to make shipping more affordable I'm sticking with the Zavvi release of this.

I knew 4K was going to ruin my collecting. May it die a slow, painful death.

No kidding! I was just about to hit complete checkout on paypal before I noticed the price, did a double take and worked out some math... Yep that price tag is right. Instantly X'd out of the tab. Nope. $80 for one edition before shipping is hilarious and horrifying. FAC used to be the cheapest retailer but the price goes up with every release. It's not like a large portion of the collector base opens these releases anyway, they could sell empty steelbooks and most people would never know

I love the slip art but I guess I'll just buy a poster. I'll see what the other retailers come up with, hopefully in non-4k.
