Personal Shopper is her best work to date, but I'd also recommend Adventureland, which I think is really underrated. Certain Women is excellent too, as is Panic Room.

Because there's been rumors floated by key players on the convention circuit a release was likely in October.

My thoughts exactly. With today's announcements, we're almost pushing two years without a Lloyd release. For that matter, I think were pushing at least a decade for Erich von Stroheim's The Wedding March.

Plaza in the closet and Stewart on a Criterion cover.

This is truly the dawn of the apocalypse.

Order and Gertrud are two of the best films ever made in my view. I'd take them over most films. Ordet is in my personal top 5. Gertrud is more divisive but if you connect with it it will become one of your favs too.

Right now I won 173 Criterion Blu-ray releases (not sure how many movies due to the boxsets I own). Anyways, pretty much caught up. I still need to upgrade Gojira and buy a couple of others .

You meant you own, right? If that's the case, incidentally I also own 173 currently with Blow-up and Ugetsu today...

Watching Ugetsu now for the first time! Very intriguing film, not sure if I'll buy it yet or not.

I would imagine they'll get all of Bergman out on Blu eventually as he probably sells pretty well, Kurosawa too.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World is listed as being released in October 2017.
I wish it is being released in KeepCase. I seldom received a DigiPak that is not
dented, creased, poked etc.

I love Digipa(c)ks. Both Blow-up and Ugetsu received today were pristine. Most often they also come with better/thicker booklets.

Criterion interviewed Peter Cowie a few weeks ago so another Bergman blu-ray is coming soon.

NOTLD is still not listed on http://www.janusfilms.com. It will most likely tour art houses around the country before the end of the year with a blu-ray release to follow in 2018.

Zatoichi often goes on sale outside of the semi-annual 50% sales. Amazon will usually have a deal or you may get lucky and find it in an unexpected place elsewhere online (BN's eBay store had it for $49 a few years ago).

It's $97 at the moment on amazon. Think I have bought too much for now

Having not seen any of these and after watching the trailers, I would most likely go with Vampyr and The Lure...Or add them to the want list when the next sale happens anyhow

As a musician, I tell my wife I don't want to be a superstar, I just want to be able to pay the bills and popular enough to make a trip to the Criterion closet. I may just settle for the latter.
