Yeah, my guesses are just educated guesses based on...

1. What they've released in the past
2. What's still out there that would be available to them
3. Hints from other labels and industry people.

For example... we know from the Kino rep that the British anthology flick Screamtime is with another label. Scream Factory has released a LOT of anthology movies on Blu-ray, so it seems very much in their wheelhouse. Doesn't mean it's a lock that its with Scream Factory, but I think that's enough for a good purely-for-fun-and-specularion guess.

Screamtime doesn't feel like a strong enough title to be on it's own unless it's loaded with extras. Hoping it ends up being a double feature.

There are a lot of stand-alone Scream Factory releases that aren't packed with special features...

Nomads
Jack's Back
Incredible Melting Man
Ghost Town
Nightmares
Doctor and the Devils
Deadtime Stories
I, Madman

It's kind of the other way around; the reason Lambs would be rumored here is that Criterion has supposedly already passed on it.

Honorable Alternates:
-Killer Klowns From Outer Space (but seeing how Arrow is doing a 4K remaster, I doubt it)
-Freaked
-Terror Toons 3

Shout Select:
-The Secret of NIMH
-Ace Ventura Movie Collection
-Power Rangers Original 2-Movie Collection
-Howard The Duck
-The Simpsons Movie
-Spaceballs
Where did you hear about a 4K Killer Klowns From Outer Space Arrow remaster???

This isn't about what we want - it's what we realistically think Scream will announce, based on their deals and their recent double-dip strategy.

It all comes down to what's available to license. That's why you see comments like "They need to make new deals" or "they're scraping the bottom of the barrel" or what you just said . We'd all love to see new stuff but it's all up to the studios Scream Factory licenses from.

Again, my guesses are NOT what I want them to release.

They are want I THINK they will announce.

Oh yeah? I've been hearing rumors going the other way, especially when I heard LAMBS popped up on FilmStruck with the Criterion logo, as well as Criterion resurrecting OOP titles from the dead left and right.

Whoever releases Fright Night Part II in the US can just give it a barebones release with original cover art as far as I'm concerned. I just need it to accompany my TT first edition.
The bootleg HDTV rip of Fright Night Part II is good, but something's gotta give.
If Germany can release digibook and Spain can have a copy floating around, which is believed to be another copy of the bootleg, then Scream Factory, Arrow, TT (only because they released the first one), or maybe even Olive has gotta have some pull to get this done.

I think that one is now with Warner Bros.

However... Scream Factory could totally release The Birds II: Land's End and When a Stranger Calls Back.

Warner Archives mentioned a few years back that their rights had expired on Alligator 2.

Arrow teases upcoming announcements a few days before the big day - has SF ever done the same? There seems to be zero enthusiasm or promotion on their part on the runup to the con announcements.

Scream has hyped up the announcements in the past without giving hints and it typically backfired on them as their Comic Con announcements were mediocre or lots of re-release titles, and the fans complained.

Maybe this year they are just staying quiet and hoping for some true surprises to win over the fans this year. I'm hoping for something big this year and not stuff like Misery and Silence of the Lambs which already have Blu-ray options.

People are buying them and at least for me, I never grew up with these so it's almost like a seal of approval. No disrespect to anyone's opinion but I myself will be buying quite a few if any of yhese predictions are true.
Yep most of their re releases have new remasters and of course special features. I love that they give theses films the editions they deserve.
