I hope they turn out as well as I've imagined they would.

Perhaps photo shop and bleed in/incorporate the spine artwork to carry over into the 2 side panels or even carry it around the sides to frame them.

I finally got the slim Italian Indiana Jones steel and I really like it a lot. The spot glossing is fantastic. Of course, it was just missing something on the inside, I wish I could have found one piece of art to stretch across the whole thing, but I just couldn't find anything I preferred to this

My First one, technically second one first was Ender's Game to test this out.

The only thing I did different from the videos and from looking on here is bump up the resolution of both the template and when resizing the picture I used to 300. It makes for a much better printout which I found out the hard way with the first one I've done.

I finally got around to doing my custom Resident Evil steelbook collection. After getting both the Italian (Umbrella artwork) set for super cheap and getting the Best Buy Pop Art steelbooks even cheaper, I decided to combine the two. The fronts and spines are from the former whilst the backs contain the fronts of the latter. I then added my own interior artwork to each. I'm pleased with how they turned out.

I salvaged the inner plastic trays and kept them for future custom projects. I now have a giant stack of empty trays. I recycled the back plates as I have no use for them.

New artwork inside the Italian Magnificent Seven SteelBook (it was plain red before). Plus a 2-Disc insert to house both my 4K and BD discs.

Is it easy to scratch the paint on the inside of the spine if not extremely careful? Looking to swap cases for larger capacity.

I’ve never had that issue. You’re essentially slicing through the glue, so take extra care in heating up the spine before attempting to cut.
