Is the steelbook exclusive to Amazon JP?

I pre-ordered this as soon as it went up but would love to find cheaper. I have asked several times on the Blade Runner 4K thread but was completely ignored.

Amazon JP now says the Seller does not ship to the US but at the time I placed my order it did not and allowed me to place the order.

I speak very limited Japanese and sent an inquiry to the Seller on Amazon but my Japanese is not great. Can someone else try to confirm that this 4K Steelbook can be shipped to the US?

It isn't available for shipping outside Japan because is no longer shipped and sold from Amazon. Unfortunately, Amazon Japan considers pre-ordered items as sold items.

If you pre-ordered your copy when it was shipped and sold from Amazon.jp you should be good to go.

Oh awesome! I was shocked that it hadn't sold out... but I guess it did. Glad I grabbed one then!

Just checked and my order IS indeed shipping from Amazon JP. Also noticed the Third party jacked the price up to $90ish when I locked mine in at $60ish. Still not cheap by any means but with its limited avalailability this could be a collectible!

The week this releases, they'll triple in price on Amz.jp, (3rd parties)and then continue to rise. But, most 3rd parties don't ship to the US. One has to be right on a preorder the moment it goes live, especially on amz.jp, especially a release like this. Or any Marvel/Disney steels, limited editions, etc. I've seen it over and over, year after year with countless releases.

All 4K UHD blu-rays are Region-Free. The Blu-ray Disc MAY be Region A locked.
