Definitely worth buying if you already own the Shout release then?

For those of you who ordered with the free shipping method, who do arrow use as their delivery company? I expect my orders to be arriving any day now (I ordered on the first sale day) but I am away until Thursday and am concerned I'll turn up and find the phantasm box dumped on the street.

Mine came through DHL Express. Which that's a 1st for me through Arrow. I ordered the Phantasm set and and 7 other items. I also ordered on the 1st day of the sale and it was shipped out on the 21st. I'm in the US on the east coast if that helps you figuring out when your package should arrive. Mine arrive in a rather big box which I was surprised to see. And inside that box was 3 other boxes. Was packed nice and tight. Not a single dent or scratch on the Phantasm set. All my other items came in mint condition too. I'm pretty good at estimating the delivery time. Usually takes 8-11 days for me.

Does anybody know if the points accumulated on the current website will carry over to the new site?

I've ordered five titles and two dispatched this time last week but neither have arrived. Two more I had ordered at the same time are still 'Stock on order', as is the one I ordered last night (52 Pick-Up). Guessing this sale overwhelmed them more than previous ones, as I haven't usually had to wait this long before (only once, and I was slow off the mark anyway).
I picked up donnie darko in hmv a few weeks back alot of them was without the slip but went to another section of the shop and found one with the slip

Here's why. When DiabolikDVD overhauled their website, you had to create a whole new account. All prior account info was removed. Thought that may happen at Arrow too, hence the question.

They should carry over, but to be safe I did a print to PDF & screenshot of the points page. But I ended up spending all my points on "The Thing" digipak.

All 3 Arrow books have now been delayed.
Blair Witch was already delayed to Oct 9th.
Ghost in the Shell and Meiko Kaji have now been delayed to Sept 11th.

Was your order dispatched on July 19th ?

Arrow don't dispatch orders on the day they're made, especially not during sales due to the increased demand.

Most likely, your order, if dispatched, was dispatched a few days later, say July 24th. I see you're in the Netherlands, so a package from them would take roughly a week to arrive. That'd bring us about today.

In any case, I thus wouldn't worry.

Fair enough. Though you can be rest assured that Arrow have a far more pro-active and caring Customer Support team than Diabolik

Thumbs up

My Story Of Sin Blu just arrived by Royal Mail despite it being marked as TNT 2nd Class on my order details. Only took 8 days from dispatch.

Ah well it was a points purchase and it's here now.

Hmmm, this means my last sale order might not arrive for some time if they're grouping together. I'll drop them an e-mail to query it.

I hope so I had around a 1000+ points from two orders made during the sale. Hate to see a tenner go down the drain

One of my sales orders was allegedly dispatched on the 24th July, the account was only updated this morning. So far nothing has arrived. They are sending the free postage stuff with TNT these days who I remember being abysmal when they started doing HMV's deliveries a couple of years back.
My Psycho II was dispatched yesterday with Royal Mail 1st class which I'll be expecting to arrive first!

I've currently got about 3500 points as I stockpile them by buying sale titles I don't have and preordering boxsets that aren't like an immediate rush, then get limited editions I really want later free.

Was planning on screenshotting the points anyway but definitely will now

Ditto. "Pieces" arrived this morning by Royal Mail despite having been dispatched last Monday using TNT 2nd class? Anyone's guess who'll deliver my Woody Allen box set that was sent on Saturday "apparently" by TNT

I never put a product that never showed In Stock yet in a sale order. That's the best way to be sure your order won't ship quickly.

Yeah I ordered all of my 'in stock' items separately from the ones that were 'awaiting stock' to try and avoid this kind of thing. Not overly bothered when they get here, but my first has already arrived. Now just waiting on my dad's order and my two last minute pay day orders.

On the subject of reward points, I've got £18 worth. Anyone know when the new site goes live? I'm almost definitely using them to get a discount off the Kore-eda box set, but I'm waiting to see HMV's price first.
