Scooby Doo Review

I saw it when I was in Elementary School. Third or Fourth grade, I think. Growing up, I was a big Scooby Doo fan. I loved all the cartoons, from the goofy 60's episodes that were still airing as reruns on Cartoon Network, to the Zombie Island movie that I watched over and over on VHS.


Even then, I still didn't like the live-action movie all that much. Coming out of the theater with my dad (who had been annoyed by the whole thing -- I distinctly remember him grimacing and scoffing with disgust when Scrappy Doo urinated on Daphne), I couldn't help but feel I should have went with my mom and brother to see "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" instead. At such a young age, I somehow consciously realized I had seen a bad movie. Call it my first step developing a sense of taste.
