Interesting..! Still I'm just glad that two fourthcoming titles (FF8 and TF) that I enjoy watching over and over (but aren't classics) are going to be in DV should I want the option.

No surprise that the superior format at the moment, HDR10, produces the better PQ.

I'm sure those little guys over at Dolby will figure things out in a few years, though.

Still banging your head on the wall before posting eh?
Mind you What HiFi are the only ones who've come to that conclusion.

You mean the guys who started the whole HDR in film and television revolution to begin with? Who gave part of their IP away to create HDR10 in the first place?

Use the ignore button Pete, you know it makes sense. With regards to What Hifi and their opinion, Geoff sums it up perfect above [emoji108]

To be fair, regardless of which format is objectively--or subjectively, depending on the individual preference--is better, you never offer any meaningful insight, HeatEquation.

In fact, you've regressed to reposting the same gif over and over.

Either start staying on topic and contributing something worthwhile to these discussions, or take your Amy Schumer caliber memes/gifs to another forum.

I'm offering literally the exact same insight people like you offer about your preferred format. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you want to be taken more seriously, and to be presented with more substantive content, improve the quality of your posts and opinions.

No, you're not. You're not offering anything.

Any time a discussion between DV/HDR10 takes place, I link to Brian Florian's article--which is the most comprehensive and informative writeup to date on the HDR format itself--whom also happens to have the education and required certifications, to break it down to a science.

Other than that, I've offered nothing more than my firsthand observations between the two formats on the titles that feature both DV/HDR10. Whether people choose to respect my insight or not is their prerogative.

However, I'm at least offering something. You have neither the equipment, nor the education, to be making claims as to which format is better. Which is why you revert to your kindergarten caliber trolling tactics, and Adam Sandler-esque memes.

So either start adding substance, or just piss off to another forum altogether.

In other words, you've offered absolutely nothing of your own, just as I stated in my post. Thanks for proving my point.

I can, and have, linked to articles comparing the two, as well as to posts/articles on the current issues with DV discs. It's something literally anyone can do, so you're not going to get any points for doing so, kiddo.

I'll reply to you with substance once you start making worthwhile posts.

Dolby Vision and HDR-10 are both certified neat-o.

You kids should go to your rooms.
