If you don't want to pay extra monthly fees...get a OTA Tuner for your local HD channels.

Thanks for the responses........ I'm all moved-in, and t.v. is hooked up....

HERE'S THE DEAL.....

I don't mind that t.v. looks like crap on the projector, I expected that.... but now, on my other t.v. (which doesn't have a box, it just uses the remote) it looks TERRIBLE.... lots of pixelation etc..... kinda like I'm looking through a screen door......

The guy said it was because the run of cable was so long, and it was "Unavoidable"

My wife is talking about getting rid of the dish all-together because she thinks it's dumb that it looks that bad.



I guess I'll deal with it for awhile, and see what happens

Crack,

Looking at this, but I'm curious.... do I need to connect an antenna, or can I go Coaxial in from the dish network box to this, then this, to my Projector via HDMI ??? and I'll get all of the HD channels (local ones that is?) or do I have to get an OTA antenna too?
