Praying for a remaster, but if not I'll still pick this up as I've never bought Home Alone 2 and this has a slipcover just like the remastered edition of the first I own.

In all honesty, even though I'd love a 4K remaster, I think the current transfer is pretty good IMO. I know there's people that disagree but I didn't find any big issues with it.

It's not bottom 10 but probably near the end of a bottom 100 worst-looking catalog titles out there. The edge enhancement is just so bad, doubly so after looking at the beautiful 4K remaster they did for the original.

I'm not saying I wouldn't love a remaster but since that's most likely not going to happen I don't find the current transfer unbearable by any means. I barely noticed a difference with the 4K remaster to the first Home Alone vs the previous release until about 30 minutes into watching it in motion. It was a difference but nothing really drastic IMHO. I would definitely recommend the remaster over the previous release hands down though

I also like the 2009 release of this movie on blu-ray, am looking forward to re watching it, this up coming holiday season.

I hope one day they release a 4K version of this movie, I think if done right it can look really good

I saw this new version at Bestbuy, it didn't state it had a features (from what I saw) on the back of the case, its a blu-ray /DVD/Digital Copy combo with a red slipcover, I think it was 9.99. It was by the new releases.
