Thought Boston would run away with it, but KC just took the lead.
I'm also stoked that one of my step-sons may be getting a job here soon.

Up way too early on my day off, my internal clock is set to get up at 2:30 every morning for work. Finishing an episode of The Walking Dead then likely go back to sleep, since Iv'e gotta get up at 7 to get the kid off to school.

Ah ok. I used to start at 4am and kind of liked that shift. Used to work a graveyard at a call center as well. You're almost done. Hopefully you're off for the weekend.

Coffee, some banking, checking my e-mail, then I've gotta start work on my truck. Also gotta make some time to call my Army recruiter back, he called this morning while I was driving my daughter to school - apparently I was DQ'd at MEPS. The only reason I can think of is they think I may have complications from some surgeries I had a child..over 20 freaking years ago, haven't had any issues since! Ironically when I tried calling him back a couple hours ago he was out of his office so I had to leave a message.

Making lists... I make lists for everything.

I started a list today for some toys that we plan to buy the kids for Christmas.

I started another list a minute ago on things I plan to look for at a large furniture retailer's warehouse sale next weekend.

In other news, my housemate is freaking out about Irma. She's SURE the house will be destroyed. The fact that we live north of Atlanta and that we're still days away from knowing the path of the storm is not preventing her from trucking as many of her possessions to shelter elsewhere as she can.
