This is something I'd like to see as well. I heard this is a good movie and that Mark Wahlberg did a great job.

Good movie from what I hear. Many positive reviews, however since the audio is only 5.1 DD I probably will pass on it.

I loved this movie, its a definite buy for me, Mark's best film to date. Good storyline and plenty of action to keep you satisfied.

Yeah it was pretty good. I honestly just dont know about the rewatch value. It tended to get a little slow in parts.

I think it's a great movie if you watch it with the proper expectations. That being said, just expect it to be a shoot-em-up movie where Mark Walberg takes on everyone... But if that's the attitude you take when watching the movie, you'll love it! At least, I did. I hope you would be the same. I'm picking this and 300 up next week.

Reminds me of Commando , better acting though. Lots of bullets flying around but never hitting their target. Of course Mark never misses. Highly entertaining. I'd recommend it highly and will be picking it up on release day. HD Digest gave it 4 stars so it must be good .

Got this BR disc yesterday and watched it today... despite it being a bit over-the-top, I did find the movie to be quite entertaining...

question for those who have fired a rifle or are in law enforcement or whatever... mark wahlberg is a lefty, yet in his opening scenes he is shooting with his right hand/right side... later in the movie he shoots with his left... is that just a continuity issue, or are certain rifles meant to be shot 'right handed'?

Having spent 20 yrs in the United States Marine Corps and having been through sniper training I can assure you that it is definitely a continuity issue.

First - sighting adjustments for left-handed and right-handed shooting are completely different due to a difference in eye dominance.

Second - Most snipers are right-handed due to the ejection port of MOST automatic rifles are on the right side of the rifle and when firing multiple shots the marksman does not want ejected casings crossing his line of sight and possibly causing an ill-timed distraction.
