I've never messed with digital downloads for movies.
If I buy the US Walmart Exclusive Mummy and download the exclusive content, how hard would it be for me to burn it to a DVD-R myself?
Would the video come in a format that a basic DVD burner program that comes with your computer would be able to burn a playable DVD?

Do I have to download some kind of program just to access the online content to begin with?

And when I went to the site to download the bonus content, it doesn't work. May as well have bought the regular version.

For $26.99 I would expect to be able to have a choice for vudu or itunes (or both) and the special features.

Not yet, I'll have to try that. I just popped it into my 4k player instead. Absolutley love the discussion with kurtzmann and Cruise. Really sad Cruise didn't get to record a commentary. His passion is infectious, even when the movie isn't the best.

Yes! I was in Best Buy today and saw those steelbooks. The artwork is really awesome! Very cool indeed!

Watched this with the family over the weekend, and we really liked it. I felt it had a good balance between action, adventure, horror, and comedy. Now, I prefer any horror movie, to focus on the horror aspect and to stay away from comedy to break any tension. The only thing that I probably would have changed is the portrayal of Jake Johnson's character

[Show spoiler]after he was bitten. I would have preferred a more internal struggle between being menacing and under Ahmanet's influence and trying to help Cruise's Nick Morton character. As it stood, Johnson's character was more comic relief

. Looking forward to seeing this again, and the upcoming movies in the Dark Universe.

Am I the only one that finds this advertisement, that's plastered on like every Amazon movie page, to be really misleading?



Even though it's far-fetched, it does give the unknowing person the notion that you can download and own a digital version of the film for $4.99, when in reality when you click-through, that's the rental price for the SD copy.
