A lot of times there are contractual reasons for stuff like that. It's even possible that the extended TV cut is being classified as a bonus feature (often done to reduce payments due), although based on the marketing and the cover I doubt that's the case here.

Maybe the long rumored long cut of Superman IV will get released. But I don't think that will help it's case.

I would like to see Supergirl get released. It's odd that it hasn't given the popularity of the new show.

Would love to see II and III next...put them in a double feature! SUPERGIRL obviously as well.

ALL of the Salkind Superman productions had lots of footage restored to their TV airings. SUPERGIRL's extended cut was also released by Anchor Bay so the elements are all there.

Never been released anywhere, ever. Just played on TV from time to time over the years, usually in 2-night, 4-hour slots.

So this new release still doesn't contain the 143 min. theatrical release? That's kind of frustrating. Why not include that with the 151 min. special edition and 188 extended cut for a complete package?
