Hold out for a deal, i snagged my 65 inch B7 OLED in July for $2,034 after sales tax from Frys. I did the same route i_max mentioned which is this.

Get a Citi card(i like the costco one), wait for a deal to pop up on slickdeals website(mine was $3600, but LG had $500 off and frys screwed up and had $1k off at exact same time). Buy the TV, then use "Price rewind" via the credit card to get Citi to 'rewind' the price down $500 more by matching one of the shady NJ website prices(i used tvsuperstore). Turned a $3,600 OLED into a $2k oled with tax included doing this. PLUS the Citi card adds 2 years warranty to all purchases! so thats like another $100+ if bought from the retailer.

It takes a bit of effort, i think i probably invested 10 hours of my life into looking out for the deal, getting it, and getting the price rewind stuff settled via the CC company, but 10 hours for $1,600 ain't to shabby.
