Started watching The Devil Within Her Blu and sadly I’m hearng some audio dropouts

Maybe from the audio source? Not a reason to panic hopefully just a few incidents.

**** Update finished the BLU those were the only instances of quick audio dropouts. So no big deal I was afraid it was going to plague the movie.

But I’m loving the funky Ron Grainer score (The Omega Man)

Lots of crazy stuff in the movie including a couple of decent kills.


I think there is something really wrong with the baby in this movie!!

The Omega Man is much better, I don’t recall much of the score from The Prisoner since it’s been probably a decade since I watched the show. But the score here is a bit more electronic funk 70’s but still fun. The fact this style music is played over Joan Collins’ labor scene makes it crazier

It isn’t a great film but the transfer looks really good and it has some good wtf moments and odd character motivations and actions and all that crazy stuff.

I did a search of this thread, and didn't see anything, but has anyone ever asked about a Satan's Slave Blu-ray? I just watched the DVD yesterday and really enjoyed it. Wondering what the possibilities of an upgrade is.

Are there any reviews/screencaps of The Return? I just noticed my copy had the dreaded Multicom logo on the back, so I'm wary of opening it if this is another Mutant.

I watched mine the other day and there are no DNR issues like on Mutant.

Mutant was probably just a one-off; since The Dark, The Power and One Dark Night Blu-rays don't suffer from DNR either.

I had forgotten/been unaware those were Multicom as well, and had no issues with The Power (haven't gotten around to the other two), so will happily pop The Return in tonight, thanks!

It's not a Mutant-level disaster - that seems to have been a one-off. PQ on The Return is about as good as can be expected. These movies are never going to receive extensive restorations but as long as they're watchable and free of errors/glitches I'll be happy. As far as Mutant, I'm hoping Bill redoes that one without the blanket of DNR all over it.

I asked when they issued The Incubus on DVD a couple years back and was told they felt the master or source they have isn't good enough for BLU. this could change though who knows.

So I grabbed a copy of the Scorpion DVD edition since the old Image edition went OOP

I have the Scorpion DVD as well. But they said the same thing about Grizzly, and released it on Blu-ray soon after. I picked up a region free, blu-ray copy of Grizzly from Germany, and it looks great.

Incubus will make it to Blu eventually. Most everything else has.

Not exactly sure. I remember complaints about the US version, so I didn't buy it. I didn't want to shell out $26, and be unhappy with the transfer. I already had the DVD and it looked fine.

I wound up seeing the German one, on Amazon for like $6, and bought it. I don't have any issue with it.
