Watched the trailer and it looks kind of faithful to the book. Optimistic, hopefully the movie's balls are only cut off for the trailer and not the movie.

True, but it didnt look like the first thing happened to cause the heart attack.


Also, wasn't she only handcuffed by one hand? Its been 20 plus years since I read it.

Yeah I'm just hoping the trailer portrayed the scene misleading ly. I think it was both hands but I could be mistaken

Great trailer. I wasn't sure how well this would translate to the screen because so much of the book comprised of flashbacks and internal monologue, but I've got a good feeling about this one.

Yeah I completely agree. It sucks that Hush and Gerald's Game are strictly Netflix instead of blu ray......or not yet anyway.

Flannigan was hot out of the gate, and has progressively gotten worse with each film.

Haven't seen Absentia, but I really enjoyed Oculus.

Then Hush was great as well.

Before I Wake and Ouija: Origin of Evil were both terrible. Hot garbage.

Absentia is fantastic, really creeped me out. I think it's his best film so far; the bigger the budget he has, the worse the product.

[Show spoiler]Topless, wearing panties, both hands cuffed, is the setup of the novel. It's too bad they didn't maintain that here but I guess Carla wasn't up for it. Also the age of the characters is middle aged, so Carla is a good choice in that sense.

The heart attack is why Gerald died, so that's accurate. However, in the novel he is obese and that's why he has one. This incarnation of Gerald looks fairly healthy.

Also, in the novel it's not their first time playing Gerald's game, whereas the trailer there makes it seem like they are trying it out for the first time.

Yeah I'm hoping the trailer is misleading in those details but who knows. My main problem so far is definitely that Gerald looks pretty good.
