Dont forget Victor played by Bill Nighy. But it would be hard to replace him with other actor.

Now for a front face i think they have plenty options.

Love the movies to death, would most definitely give this a shot.

I mean, I'll watch it because I like the franchise... but if they're going to do a tv series they need to distance it from the movie by setting it in the same world but not connected... I don't want to see a bunch of recast characters. If they want to use characters from the movies, they should be special guest stars and not need to be main characters because they likely won't get to keep them around.

I guess I can agree with this, especially if they still plan on doing movies later on with the established characters.
