BEST GAME: COD4/MGS4
WORST GAME: Haze
OVERLOOKED/UNDERRATED: Battlefield Bad Company & Far Cry 2
BEST PSN GAME: Wipeout HD & HV Bowling


I know technically COD4 is from the year prior but my time was more so spent on it this year as opposed to last.

Best : GTA4 ............still i am very disappointed with it ,it could have been much more ( ex. no missions including airplanes...)
Worst : GRID............they tried to mix BURNOUT and NFS (can be done ) but went on to add MOTOR FORZA ( not compatible )..what a waste of a good game???

I would say UT 3, but that's barely pushing back into last year though for the PS3 (The Xbox 360's version came out this year).

BEST GAME: Dead Space / MGS4
WORST GAME: Haze
OVERLOOKED/UNDERRATED: LBP / Dark Sector
BEST PSN GAME: Wipeout HD / R&C Quest for Booty


I'd say that UT3 was a great game. Just had a terrible community on the ps3.

Using Wreck's own rules

Best game - Uncharted (spent more time on it this year, and appreciated it much more)

Biggest disappointment - Haze (I don't think it's a terrible game to play, but could and should have been so much better than it is, which would also apply to GTAIV I suppose)

Most underrated - LBP (far too many think it's just a cutesy kids game (it isn't), or that the creation part is too difficult or fiddly (it isn't))

Best PSN - Wipeout HD (but also like the creative strangeness of Linger in Shadows)

Best online game - would have to be either Burnout Paradise or Warhawk (was that released this year!?). Not really played any others online!

Quite easy this year

OVERLOOKED/UNDERRATED: Civilisation Revolution
BEST PSN GAME: Wipeout HD

Pain just does my head in. I don't have fun with it and the trophies are 100% rock hard.

BEST OVERALL: Rock Band 2

BEST "TRADITIONAL" VIDEO GAME: GTAIV (Largely overrated at time of release, but now being somewhat underrated. Weird.)

WORST: I'm pretty certain I did not play whatever the worst game actually was. The worst game that I did play was probably Haze, but I didn't hate it as much as most.

MOST OVERLOOKED/UNDERRATED: Mirror's Edge (Seriously. If you write this game off without playing the time trials, you are doing yourself a disservice)

MOST UNCLASSIFIABLE BECAUSE I FEEL REALLY AMBIVALENT ABOUT IT: LBP

BEST GAME: GTA 4 (I know, I know. Most people thought it was dull but b/c I didn't play the last two games I wasn't biased.)
WORST GAME: Fallout 3 (aimlessly walking around and talking to random people about dumb stuff made me feel like I wasted many hours of my life that I wish I could get back)
OVERLOOKED/UNDERRATED: I agree with others about the Buzz Trivia game. It's soooo much fun!!!

Overlooked: LBP (Considering the reviews it got, I'm surprised that it hasn't sold more)

I like it - but then I was one of those guys that would pick his lunch places workdays based on which ones had NTN trivia.

Expanion packs are a bit pricey and the online doesn't seem to have a ton of activity at times, but just taking into account playing with friends that are over visiting it's a ton of fun.
