So, I guess this release starts the end of when Warner puts Digital HD codes in this series Blu-Rays too :-(. Shameless!... after doing it for the last 6 seasons!

I purchased this season months ago on Amazon. It has no special features or subtitles that are listed on the box and there was no talk if any at all about it. What exactly did I purchase? It was a legitimate Amazon purchase but I don't understand why it has no special features/ subtitles. What did I buy can anyone help?

Can you post photos of the box and discs? Whatever you bought was a bootleg. There are special features on the official release.

I will try to...thx for the answer. I don't understand how a bootleg makes it into Amazon as an official release.

You bought a bootleg. Its just been released and it does have extras too. How do one Buy a bootleg on amazon. Aren’t you sure it was on eBay instead ?
You should get a refund. I have never seen anything like this on amazon

I was thinking the same thing, which is a shame (pun not initially intended) because I travel a lot of work and would download the digital copies as Showtime currently doesn't allow that feature.

Luckily I got the digital a few weeks ago on Vudu for $10, had a nagging feeling they will stop putting codes with the blu-ray and it sure came true. So I guess going forward if Vidu has a sale on this show will sure grab it as I doubt they will bring codes back.

i really couldnt give a rats ass about the Digital Code. Its the Blu-Ray i Buy. Why in the hell would anyone complain about this when you Buy the Blu-Ray. Take the digital talk to the digital thread instead

Well you guys have answered my question. It probably was on eBay. Thanx for the replies. And yes, it was about 7 months ago. I thought I got lucky but no special features. Oh well the library is getting it. No way I'm repurchasing it.

I think it depends on the release but yes... I noticed that Lethal Weapon (Season 1) and Blindspot (Season 2) did not include digital copies.

Could be a test to see if including a digital copy makes a difference in sales... But considering how getting everything through one portal is a complete cluster f***, the whole digital copy thing, including UV is about to implode.

Cinema Now is gone, Flixster is gone in the US, you can't redeem UHD codes from one source, redeeming Universal titles does even link to VUDU and more, just the second worst site next to the deceased Flixster, Fandango Video.
