I don't think Warner Brothers release any films with the expanded IMAX ratio unless they are directed by Christopher Nolan...

Some interesting stuff from Roger Deakins, not on 3D this time but IMAX and HDR.
https://www.rogerdeakins.com/film-ta...2049-2d-or-3d/ Roger's preferred way to see the film is Regular Widescreen 2D (not 3D, IMAX or HDR). |

My local Cinemark is offering advance tickets in their XD auditorium in 3D, but this far out they've only got one showtime each for 2D and 3D, so I'll need to wait to book it because the currently available 3D time is unreasonably late. |

Wow, almost 3 hours long. I think I will wait for blu-ray 3d (hoping) and be able to pause it.

Isn't all polarized, projected 3D played on silver screens? I assume that is what is installed in IMAXs and XD screens, even for 2D presentations.

"We shot the film in 2D and in a wide screen format." In other words, that's the format in which they intended you to see it. |

Why are grey screens used in 3D projection? We're losing enough light as is.
