Amazon won't even price adjust for non-preorders that have yet to ship yet anymore, they will only offer to cancel the order for you so that you can re-order at the lower price. Unfortunately it's not really a surprise that they won't price adjust a week out at this point.

I'm getting the same thing with the Close Encounters price drop. I ordered a new one, when it gets here, I'll put the return label on the same package and hand it right back to them. It's so stupid but if that's how they want to play it then whatever. Can't see why they won't give me the $4 when it was delivered 4 days ago.

I just ordered this before my first sip of coffee or first email of the day. Hot damn what a deal! This has to be a mistake ?!?!!?
Reminds me of when BvS Extended Edition 4K was $10 last November. I know that had to be a mistake, somebody who didn't know the difference between UHD and regular BD was behind the scenes making price changes and probably got fired that day. It was literally only $10 for about and hour or two. It's still usually $25+ in stores! And I had a gift card too so it was free haha! Proof; Last edited by blankford; 09-27-2017 at 12:41 PM. Would have thought an upgrade to AVC and DTS-HD MA or Dolby True HD 7.1 (being 20th Anniversary and all), would have been the go. Bad trend that's happening. Blade Runner UHD's 1080pBD was also the same 10yo VC-1, highly compressed (16.88 Mbps) transfer that needs an upgrade, badly. I can understand E.T UHD being the same 1080p disc (only came out a few years back), but Starship has a new 4K scan, so having a new BD transfer accompanying the 4K BD makes sense. Missed opportunity. ![]() Really hope they don't pull that shit with Terminator 2 UHD and we get a newly minted 1080p transfer, 'cos the current Studio Canal VC-1 transfer in the Skynet edition is a waxy DNR'd mess. ![]() |

I haven't upgraded to a 4K TV or player yet but just ordered because this is still about $3 cheaper than regular Blu Ray version. So I get the best worlds the Blu Ray I can watch now and when I do upgrade my system I'll already have my first 4K title
