Good thing most blu-rays don't have this issue and can play properly (assuming it's region free) on any player and HD TV around the world. There are a handful of UK discs with 50Hz material (1080i programming, for example), which sucks, but those are few and far between. And sometimes there are US versions of those titles that do away with that issue. But yeah, PAL (for the most part), is a no-go for the vast majority of North American consumers. |
