Audio cannot go straight to the speakers. You are going to need to get yourself a receiver to take in these audio signals (from PS3, 360, DVD player or whatever) and then from there it goes to your speakers.

And most all receivers nowadays can take in various audio signals. So you can use it to output audio to your speakers from your TV, or most all other audio devices.
