I couldn't wait for Rebecca and pre-ordered it on Amazon soon after the announcement was made. Hopefully, the sale starts soon.

This week would be less likely than either of the next two weeks, they usually like to have at least one new title up for the sale. [Edit: Oh, didn't realize Vampyr was publishing this week. So, yeah, I guess it could be.]

I'm hoping it's next week, so Othello will be included.

I still think they'll hold it until "Barry Lyndon", which seems to me to be the high profile title of the month, but we'll find out in two weeks (or less).

Any word on an upgrade of Elevator to the Gallows?

I've had the supposed Region B from Artificial Eye on pre-order at Amazon UK for quite a while, but never any sign of a release date. And the dedicated thread for this release indicates that this has been going on for a few years.

Is actually a blind buy. I thought I'd grab the Region B BD, but at this rate perhaps I'll just pick up the DVD in the upcoming flash sale.

OTHELLO is a hotter item, though.

Although it may be in stock and be discounted, like that year THE SOFT SKIN was included despite not streeting for another week.

I'd cancel the pre-order and get the Louis Malle 10 film box set that's coming out in 2 weeks in the U.K. Even if most of the films in that set would be blind buys, one could do a lot worse than his filmography.

If you buy several discs they tend to box it in something that they actually fit in, as opposed to Amazon's huge boxes that allow for them to slide all over the place during shipping.

Probably meant to buy in-store at B&N, so it could be inspected first.
