Sucks you have it in your hands and you're forced to leave it there because store employees broke release date. Ugh, the frustrations!

I know if it were Walmart they wouldn't have all these restrictions. Plenty of times they have broken release date and would allow you to buy them.

The clerk genuinely seemed interested in sending me out the door with it, trying to override the system or enter it in manually. But a "higher up" salesperson would not budge. "You have to come back next week."

Did you happen to notice what the running time was? It's detailed on the back, lower left corner. The picture originally posted of the back portion is too blurry. Can't make it out. I worked up some conventional Blu-ray cover art for this and want to be accurate. Thanks in advance!

I wish we could get the specs on the audio. But I bet Netflix and target will drop info any day now. maybe?

I still love the VHS artwork of iamsteelberg, who creates amazing VHS images for lots of movies and TV shows. I wonder whether or not his original Stranger Things VHS image (from all the way back in July) influenced the style of this release... other than the lack of the show's actual logo, and perhaps being a bit overboard on the used look, I almost like iamsteelberg's better!

You do realize there's no such thing as Stranger Things 3D...right? There never was.

I wish these would come up for pre-order. I'd rather not have to show up at Target when it opens.

Stores will have plenty of copies. So nothing to stress over about.

Pretty hard to say. I'm in the same "gotta have it" boat - I'll be playing it safe and showing up at Target when they open.
