Because they are not connected to the movies in the DC case. Marvel Agents of SHIELD is connected with the Marvel Universe Movies as Agent Carter was and probably Inhumans. Not sure about the netflix ones. So it makes no sense making a TV Show called Captain America or Thor. As in DC case u have Flash the movie and Flash the tv show....

Netflix ones are connected too, they're just street level heroes. They've talked about "the incident" (I think that's what they call it?) a lot, which is the event in The Avengers, but since they're all contained in NYC and in the past (2013/2014ish), the events of the other movies haven't been brought up. Plus, they never really had the connection to the MCU that Peggy did because of Captain America and Coulson did with The Avengers.

The Marvel TV shows on ABC, Netflix, and Hulu are connected to the Marvel movies but for cost reasons only selected actors from the movies appear on the shows. Agent Coulson is the only character who moved from the movies to TV permanently.

Jamie Alexander and Samuel L. Jackson have made appearances on SHIELD. And the characters in the TV shows have referenced the events from the films.

DC is different in that DC greenlit the TV shows before the movies and DC chose the lesser prominent characters of Arrow and Flash. Supergirl had a hitch as it was intended for another network so that show takes place in a seperate universe. Legends of Tomorrow debut in the same year as Supergirl but is in the Arrow/Flash universe. They have found a way to bring Supergirl into that universe. By using the alternate universes loophole allowed Superman to appear in Supergirl. The only caveat is Batman who can be referenced but not shown due to contractual arrangements with the Fox network.
