The packaging is referred to as exclusive right above the price but the telling part is that it says “Only at Target” under the actual STRANGER THINGS logo, which I think clearly indicates that no other retailers will be selling any home video version of this release.

My guess is folded, as I haven’t heard of ~200 poster tubes to go with all the copies that some locations have reported having.

I wonder if it's a limited exclusive deal or if Target has this completely locked up.

It would be a shame, especially if the packaging is actually crappy like Universal's Mummy Trilogy UHD set.

I agree, especially when you see the same target logo with the word exclusive is collectively listed above the new Funko pop too. Clearly they have a crazy lucrative licensing deal with Netflix.

Sounds like Target has a window of exclusivity on this as no other retailers have offered a preorder.

I meant that I wanted it to look as an actual VHS. It turned out to be like it (and I think it was kinda obvious too).

Meh not really into posters, especially folded ones. So I'm not really disappointed that it's not the amazing main art, which is what it should have been.

On a side note, the Stranger Things women's clothing seems to have disappeared from the Target website.

Heh, totally agree. Never works for me. I go to a store to buy something. All the junk by the checkout never makes me impulse buy.

I'm in the camp of people actually digging this unique packaging. We should be counting our blessings the studio didn't just half-ass the release and give us DVD only.

Besides, there's always the option of moving the discs over to a spare multi-disc BD case and printing out a custom cover. This really isn't the end of the world.
