I'll probably pick this up as I enjoy both movies but not enough to get the Scream editions for $20 each. And since I don't bother with most special features anymore, I really just want both films in HD.

Item not found. Was this a Scream Factory release or an MGM release? I'd be interested in owning both films but like LeeFanatic007 said, I don't really need the special features for these films. Give me the films for cheap and I'm interested.

This reminds me of the Bill & Ted double feature that appeared at Walmart. Just the films with no extras.

I love Ghost Town. I just rewatched Dungeonmaster/Eliminators last week and they are both a blast.

A one week sale? I guess I'll just buy through other providers for scream factory releases from now on.

Not sure what the point you're trying to make is. All of Scream Factory's own sales have only ever lasted one week. Early sales in the labels life also often only offered certain titles at their sale prices for one day, so a week long sale is certainly an improvement even if it's not as good as the 5th Anniversary sale held earlier this year.

Just went ahead and placed an order for the Odeon disc of The Witchfinder General. I know that there were issues with 1 of the films on the Vincent Price set that's been out of print for a few years now, but you would have thought that the films not affected would have seen single releases by this point. Scream Factory is missing out on potential sales by just squatting on those films. With that said, I paid $12.19 to have it shipped from the UK and I'm sure Scream Factory would ask over $20 for the film so yeah... maybe it's not that big of a deal to begin with.

I just did the same this past week! I've been on a Vincent Price kick. Picked up most of his stuff that Kino release from the recent sale too.

Well that’s your loss, I picked up Return of the Living Dead for $16.99 during the sale. It’s $22.99 on Amazon right now.

No, no. Shocktober was a month long sale. Each week would have a different selection of titles to choose from. This year was majorly scaled down in sale price and the length of the actual sale.

I think Amazon has gotten so big that they don't feel a need to pricematch anymore.

I watched all five films in my Paul Naschy Collection, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the set of films. For me the stand outs were the more Giallo based Blue Eyes for the Broken Doll and Human Beasts. This was my first exposure to Naschy, and I can't wait until the second collection comes out in November.
