Default How to verify iTunes codes without redeeming!

Just for anyone who doesn't know. On a Mac, you can open the app store (not itunes), login and click redeem. Enter the code, then click redeem. If it's vaild it will tell you to redeem on itunes. If not, it will tell you its invalid.

I tested this on an iPhone to see if it would work. I redeemed a code in the App Store app, and it successfully redeemed it, but told me to use the videos app to watch it.

So don't try it on an iOS device...

just curious because I'm new to code redeeming, why would one want to check it and not just redeem it?

This is only useful if you're selling iTunes codes.
