Speaker Spike Shoes

i, too, have hardwood floors, and the little woman didn't want me using spikes, (i can see her point). we were in ikea one day and i saw these triangular door pulls, about 100 times less than buying footers from a stereo shop, and voila! problem solved! the spikes fit into the threaded portion perfectly, and the wide end disperses the pressure form the weight of the speakers. also put felt tabs on my new " footers" just in case i need to toe them in(less chance of scratching).
