Which setting is the best for keeping the best original sound for uncompressed audio: Natural, Front, or Flat? I only ask because one of those must be chosen using the auto calibration.
When you are doing the set up use Natural, when you are looking at a BD movie I would suggest Direct Enhance.

Okay, thanks for your quick response! For watching a BD movie I try to watch it only using Straight, as that is sending it to the speakers just as it was intended. Wouldn't Direct Enhance mix the sound, or is it more like DRC?

Which DSP setting do you guys think is best for music? I'm currently just using 7ch enhancer, but I'm sure with a bit of research I could find a better one. Moefiz, I re-set it up using Natural and it sounds perfect for movies.

I used the scene button...I think its 4 for Disc listening and 3 for radio...can't go wrong with these settings.

The scene buttons are used for preset inputs. I'm asking about the DSP options.

I want to buy this receiver...
I am looking at pricegrabber.com

http://electronics.pricegrabber.com/...oduct/sv=title

The lowest price is $345 from "dbuys.com"....

Does anyone know if this is a trusted site?

I have never used the DSP options...I find with the preset buttons that they reproduce a good sound field.
