You think staggering console releases would "reduce silly little fanboi wars"? See current gen's staggered release as a reference point. Have "silly little fanboi wars" decreased or increased in scale? The X360 "fanboi" has taken that to mean they have are beating the PS3 in sales. Trying to get them to accept an aligned launch for a fair numbers comparison is like trying to thread a shoelace through a sewing needle.
