- Hard is never unlocked from the start. You have to complete the game on Normal to progress to Hard, complete the game on Hard to progress to Elite, and complete the game on Elite to progress to Suicide. I've never finished Suicide difficulty so I can't tell you if there's more beyond it.

- The multiplayer expansion adds split-screen co-op and versus modes into the game (along with a relatively easy gold trophy if that sort of thing suits you).

- The single player mode expansion adds some cool new modes with some very challenging trophies, the most difficult being Late Boomer. Check the SSHD megathread for advice on it.

Why would they have suicide with no trophy to go with it?
