No offense but that's wrong, when it goes on home media companies still have 100% control of the content. Most people that posts clips are either given express permission by the studios to post them or studios don't care enough to take them down. But companies still have full copyright control even when it goes on home media, if it became public domain on home media studios wouldn't put copyright locks on the discs. One personal example, I'm in the movie makers club at my college and the guidelines for clubs is that we can not watch a movie at a proper club meeting without having full-on written permission from the copyright holder (even if it's just us using a DVD), we almost got shut down permanently when we had Deadpool (using a DVD) playing in the background during a meeting while we worked on what our next film would be because we didn't have permission from Fox to show Deadpool at the club meeting.

Oh well that makes sense & I stand corrected, but I don’t think that includes any pictures or covers, I’m not sure where that poster got those to create the covers, but Office Max shouldn’t have made an issue out of it.

Oh & btw yea the DVD that came with my set had a slight smudge on it but it’s not a big deal to me because I have no intention of watching the DVD. I just think some are just picky & spoiled. Lighten the F up really people.

So first off, you guys were right, those trailers were utterly unskippable, which is complete bullshit. Pirates don't have to deal with shit like that.

Secondly, I don't like how there is no chapter stop after the opening theme to each episode. It sucks having to fast forward past it every time I don't want to watch it.

With that said, I watched the first disc and it was great. The music was pretty kick ass, the acting is exceptional, and I love how much is going on between the possible conspiracies, a monster of some sort, the mysteries, and a Silent Hill-esque alternate universe. I'm quite intrigued and am looking forward to watching the other disc tomorrow. I'm not even sure how everything is going to come together over the next four episodes. Then again, I guess since there is a second seaosn, it doesn't.

Anyway, the one hope I do have is that Edward Cullen... I mean Steve, gets a really nice slow and painful death.

Companies can NOT take down clips because they are covered until fair use.

Yes, it includes pictures and covers as those are made by the copyright holders for the certain project for marketing and over uses by the copyright holder and made on the holder's money. So yeah, it's unfortunate but it's how the mess of copyright works.

Fair use only protects uses of clips in stuff like review and parody. Just posting a clip of a film with nothing but the original material is not protected by fair use as it's not transformative of the copyrighted material.

Isn't that what you were talking about though? The poster seemed to be talking about clips in reviews.

I thought he was talking about people posting clips in non-fair use contexts (like just posting footage of the film with no transformation), but either way, my point is the same. Posting clips by themselves isn't protected by fair use, clips in reviews are protected.

This is what I use as a solution to that problem.

Swapped out a new blank case for the Scott Pilgrim case which has two places for discs, and put the DVD from that release on a spool (really, when am I ever going to watch the DVD anyway?). Looks fantastic! The Stranger Things DVD's can stay in the VHS packaging, since that's more appropriate for an antiquated format anyway.
Awesome! I printed mine at home with photo paper. It looks great but for some reason it wasn't long enough so I have a good size gap at the front end & back ends of the case. I really don't know how to fix it. My printer did say something about the size of my paper not being big enough which is BS & I clicked print it anyway

Check to see if you have the entire image printed. If not, your printer margins might be cropping the artwork. If so, make sure you’re printing actual size, as it may be being scaled down slightly to fit within set paper margins. Either scenario would leave you with artwork that was slightly too short. Make sure it is actual original size and not cropped at all, and it should fit like a glove.

My TV has 3 HDMI ports, but I have everything go from the device to the receiver and then the receiver to the TV. This way, my receiver is directly outputting the audio instead of the TV telling the receiver what to do.

Never saw this show before I'll probably look at getting it when it gets a wide release since Target is nonexistent around here.
