It didn't help with Joe Thomas getting injured. Titans just went after them left tackle was just owning his replacement. Kesslar couldn't do anything in OT with 3-4'guys in the back field. That plus way too much penalties, with a couple of bad calls that were penalties.

Hopefully this will finally have Hue stick with Kesslar. It just seemed liked Hue was infatuated with Kizer and looking for any reason start Kizer of his other two QBs. Kesslar won't be the answer, but he is what's needed so they can groom Kizer. Kizer needs to learn the playbook and read defenses while practicing his throws. With Kesslar in the game they have more in their playbook to use since he has a year of playing in the system. Plus, the guys seem to play better with him in. I don't want to hear about what about the QBs in next year's draft, because if they didn't think Kizer was a franchise QB, then they shouldn't have drafted him and wait till 2018 draft for a QB. Kesslar will be great backup QB, but he is what Cleveland needs now while they're building the team from scratched.

Kessler should have been the starter all along. He needs protection and receivers that can catch. Nothing wrong with Kessler

I’ve never seen anything from Kessler that screams starting QB. I mean his numbers from last year were not good.
