You gotta bear in mind it was 6 years ago, most IMAX DMR jobs were still being released on 15/70.

I don't see anything on the covers advertising it would be and they originally did.

So is the first one the only one with no IMAX scenes? That’s probably my favorite anyways so that will save me a lot also!

First and third have no IMAX scenes, so I'll be getting those.

Id get the first, third and 4th for sure. I dont have 3d to watch the imax scenes anyway. But man the big screen edition of 2 is so much better I dont know if i want to watch regular again. Might pick it up to have them all.

That just makes my decision to wait on a cheap box set later down the road much easier. Especially now I have the UHD digital copies for the first 4 films thanks to Paramount's generosity.

I doubt these digital copies are going to be at Vudu in UHD.
Might have a small chance in Fandango

The Big Screen Edition is only for a few minutes of IMAX stuff. Just the forest fight and some Devastator in Egypt.

And it's awesome. For me it brought the movie to a new level. It had the same effect as the Imax scenes in Star Trek 2, everyone raved about the Imax scenes and not so much the wide-screen shots.

Box orderd Noting wrong with brainless action Movies.
Megan Fox in 4k might be worth the price alone

Yeah, I was pretty sure that would be the case, but definitely makes these releases seem a little bit less special.

Also, I saw it during the standard release, but while the first film had no IMAX shot footage, when it released in IMAX (which was later) it had a slightly extended cut. Which Bay has said will never have a home release.

http://www.michaelbay.com/2007/09/18...and-the-dvd-2/

So only the third and fifth films had no kind of IMAX special exclusive.

Yes! Thank you! I've been looking for this!
I knew there was an IMAX cut for the first film. But nobody could tell me where were the extended parts.
