France Wonder Woman 3D/4K/2D+Soundtrack Steelbook (FNAC Exclusive) (France)

Here it is girls & boys; the package that gives you everything- for a price.

43 Euros delivered, no embossing. Also includes Digital HD slip (AKA kindling)

There's no Atmos on the 3D disc, just DTS-HD MA 5.1 for the English. The 3D dark scenes have some of the worst ghosting I've ever seen, maybe because I wear spectacles. The "Wonder" feature on the 2D disc is well worth checking out.

This is the back The front is the "crossed arms" pose, but without the embossing other editions have with the same art.

Incidentally, this is my very first 4K disc purchase. #Futureproof

So it came reverse shrinkwrapped with the rear art facing out?

I'm just asking that based on your first pic with the j-card info showing on the back

Looks like he removed the shrinkwrap and just reapplied the J-Card covering the front?

Stacked discs? Gross. Any plans to swap out the tray for a triple disc one? That'd be snazzy.

Yeah I applied the J card to the back lol, did it for sharing the pictures on FB as the back looks better. It's wrapped normally with the crossed arms in front. FNAC don't package for protection; the cardboard affair it came in was sturdy but there's no bubble wrap and the case could be crushed, but mine was flawless. Delivery was faster than The Flash, just a day or two from France to Italy- with a weekend in between.

The stacked discs really isn't as bad as it first seems. The top ones can be a little scary to remove, but there's no risk of breakage. Often just pulling the edge from a different angle works wonders (pun unintended) and the disc pops out easy as pie. The big advantage is up to six discs can be kept in one normal Steel. My French Suicide Squad has the 2D Theatrical, 2D Extended Cut, 3D Theatrical, Soundtrack and DVD all in one, plus an extra space for the eventual 4K re release disc I'll probably pick up down the line (the 4K reviews aren't the best for SS for now).

This was a blind buy, I was unfortunately disappointed with the film itself, but I'd have probably purchased it anyway to continue the DC Steelbook line. I'll probably continue to buy French editions as they're ultra fully featured.

The Atmos track on the 2D disc is in French with no English option. Really my only nitpick with this release, but it means I'll have to swap out the 2D disc with the U.S. edition, which is more money out of my pocket just to have an all-inclusive set.

Also: the Digital HD code redeems on the U.S. Vudu site just fine and grants you the 4K version.

Ah well, I won't really be rewatching it until I go 4K anyways, not that I have plans to go 4K for now. The French Suicide Squad had English Atmos on the 2D Extended Cut disc, no problems there. I haven't watched the 3D version yet.
