Thanks guys for the quick reply, currently I am thinking of getting the original series of Gundam but I have been looking for the limited box that should house both of the sets which got released exclusively in the Anime Limited UK website, I have searched on ebay but did not find it.
Anyways I'll keep looking, and thanks again! |

Well that's strange. I thought that every AL Gundam releases shared video encodes with Nozomi, but I'm starting to think that's not always the case. Gundam ZZ episode 1 is presented in 1080p 23.976fps instead of 1080i 29.97fps like the US/JP Blu-ray. Stutters like crazy. Episode 1 is a fugly clipshow made on tape, so not a big loss.
Anyhoo, Screenshots Anime Limited Gundam ZZ (Episode 2&7) Compared with AL's Zeta Gundam, the video bitrate has taken a hit. ZZ episode sizes hover around 4.30 GB, of which 3.70 GB is dedicated to the video. Zeta allocated around 4.20 GB of 5.10 GB to video. AL Gundam ZZ targets an average bitrate of 21999 kbps on all episodes versus the ~24999 kbps of Zeta. ![]() Episode 2 Also redid the screenshots of Anime Limited Zeta Gundam because of that brightness issue I had with AvsPmod: https://imgbox.com/g/kPhjIYs4yV |

Well someone on one of my discord servers posted a couple of screenshots from the UK release of Your Name, which is disc sharing with Madman.
The release seems to be pretty poor PQ, and Audio wise apparently (I don't own either release to confirm the audio) Here is a screenshot comparison for one of the high motion scenes where it shows the worse of it, but similar issues can be spotted in scenes with little motion. http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/121912 I hope someone who owns the release will be able to do a better in-depth look into the release, but found this a bit worrying |

It would be quite surprising to see they've failed to do the most important release of the year. |

It seem's that the Authoring was not done by AL, but by Madman, so... yeah knowing Madman QuAliTy in authoring I think it's plausible.
Also someone else on the UK forum checked his disc and confirmed that, that comparaison was "somewhat" true, at least there's a strong compression. Quote:

Andrew from AL has chimed in at AUKN about the concerns with Your Name.
