Seems hit and miss which Sainsbury’s have the slip. Must be selling well if no slip stock is already out.

I’ve finished watching them now, fantastic series still. The restoration is incredible as is the 5.1 option, widens out everything without feeling the need to fake directional effects.

Just watching Hammer House of Horror Blu ray - picture and audio are excellent. The episode 'Two Faces of Evil' gave me nightmares as a kid.

Amazon only remove VAT if you are based outside the EU

My post only applies to Networkonair website
Vat is only added if you are based in the UK when purchasing from Networkonair shop

I'm based in Rep of Ireland VAT is removed automatically on Networkonair
The website also uses your ip address to determine what country you are from even if you don't login into your account

Networkonair Website
Orders from non-UK countries may be subject to Customs and Excise charges which you will be liable to pay to receive your goods.
Custom charges

I never though had customs charge even when cost of goods was over the €22 limit as orders are sent from the UK

There is no free shipping if you are based outside the UK

United Kingdom BBC Radio 4 play: Hammer Horror's The Unquenchable Thirst of Dracula

[Moderators: I know this isn't a Blu-ray, or even a film, but apparently it almost was, and Hammer fans will this! I cannot find the New Threads Button and was attempting to put this in the Audio section.]

Because this is BBC RADIO (BBC Radio 4) [Originally Broadcast Saturday, 28 October @ 14:30 BST] Now available on BBC Radio iPlayer, unfortunately for UK listeners only.

Hammer Horror's The Unquenchable Thirst of Dracula

Unmade Movies

"Dracula travels to 1930's India in this celebrated unproduced Hammer Horror feature film script, part of the ongoing BBC Radio 4 Unmade Movies series and 2017's Fright Night. It's 1932 and Penny (Anna Madeley), a young British woman, travels secretly and alone by train through the heart of India, in search of her sister who has recently disappeared. In her first class carriage she meets Prem (Nikesh Patel) and Lakshmi (Ayesha Dharker), a brother and sister performing duo who have been hired for one night by a Maharajah. Babu (Kulvinder Ghir), who also shares the carriage, is horrified to learn that Penny is unaccompanied and insists that she stays with him and his wife near the caves she is visiting. Prem and Lakshmi are taken by chauffeur to the sinister residence of the Maharajah and his wife the Rani (Meera Syal) and asked to perform that night. The performance is not for the Maharajah though but his new guest, Count Dracula (Lewis MacLeod). While Lakshmi, soon separated from her brother, finds herself in great danger as she begins to dance for Dracula, Penny makes her way into the hidden cavern beneath the Maharajah's Palace where she is shocked to discover Prem, desperately searching for his sister. As they descend a hidden stone staircase inhabited by poisonous snakes, they soon find themselves looking out on a huge underground chamber full of hundreds of the Rani's acolytes, all waiting for her next human sacrifice to satisfy their blood cult. Will it be Lakshmi? And has Penny's sister already met a similar fate? It's a race against time to get answers before all of them fall under the spell of the hypnotic Count."

I bet they are, the German and Australian releases of the UK studiocanal movies carried over all the extras in the past.

Sounds like you've made out quite well!
As import fees and mailing fees can eat up any savings here in hockey-land, I've elected to go for the 7 film collection from Amz.de, the "Hammer Film Edition".
Hopefully to be released before Christmas....

On a side note, just ordered today the Deutche "Ghost and the Darkness" and "13th Warrior" so I can finally watch them in Blu & Widescreen ! Hopefully the prints are nice. Regardless, they will be better than the nonsense available in N.A. currently for those titles!

note: For those interested, there are 2 releases for Blu "GatD" from Amz.de, only one has English as alternate audio but it is identified on the cover.

The best release of The 13th Warrior was the French special edition which includes a wealth of new features created specially for that release (the film can be played in English without French subtitles while the extras have English sound with French subtitles while the subtitles on the German edition are forced):

- 51-minute documentary In Search of Eaters of the Dead with interviews with McTiernan, Banderas, Vladimir Kulich, Warren Lewis, Peter Menzies and Wolf Kroeger talking frankly about the problems with the studio's desire for a PG-13 and the difference between Crichton and McTiernan's approach to the film (Crichton wanted straightforward storytelling, McTiernan wanted to tell the story through motion and pictures). Interestingly Kulich says that both Crichton and McTiernan were right and wrong about certain things in their respective cuts while McTiernan talks about his director's cut being different but not necessarily better: "Maybe it should stay a myth." There's one brief bit of onscreen text in French, but it's easy enough to translate even if you failed high school French like me.

- featurettes In Viking Territory on the look of the film with Menzies and Kroeger (the latter filmed in an armchair by the side of a lake!).

- featurette The Life, The Films... The Cows, a lengthy interview with McTiernan about his films and those that influenced him. And cows.

- original EPK interviews and on-set footage (27 minutes)

- trivia track (French language only)

- featurette on Ibn Fadhlan (French language only)

- teaser trailer (Eaters of the Dead) and full trailer

- booklet (in French) and 8 artcards.

My goodness Aclea, you do shine at times!
Thanks so much for the info!
This film is assuredly a "guilty pleasure " for me. I get upset when I see reviews saying "no where near historically accurate!".
Duh, you no-minds, it's a fantasy adventure tale.
Again, thanks, I'll try to track this down...

edit; ooohhh my goodness, $100. sigh.
well, I can hope for an Ebay bargain perhaps, the hunt is on! heh, heh.
