At least with L'Eclisse, it's possible that they're planning a repackage that drops the DVD copies.

Went big for my second B&N sale:
  • Personal Shopper
  • Barry Lyndon
  • The Seventh Seal
  • Mulholland Drive
  • Breathless
  • Band of Outsiders
  • Ikiru
  • Rashomon
  • Rebecca
  • Tokyo Story

Hoping that I don't get hit with import tax as UK purchaser but last time B&N split up my orders into multiple packaging so ideally the same would apply here. Out of the titles above, I've seen Personal Shopper, The Seventh Seal, Mulholland Drive, Breathless and Band of Outsiders before but none of the others.

Nice haul.

I've seen the same ones you've seen, plus Rebecca (SO good!). Though, technically I've seen both Rashomon and Barry Lyndon -- but both were so long ago that I hardly feel it's right to count them.

Yeah. me too. I somehow managed to blow through my budget for the year in early September. Got a lot of good deals and I don't regret a single purchase, but man, it's hard to sit on the sidelines....

STARZ streaming has just added all the Classic Media-owned Godzilla movies (including War of the Gargantuas and Rodan) plus the unreleased/out-of-print Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974), Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, and Godzilla vs. Megalon.

The catch? They've all got Criterion logos on their thumbnails.

I don't know a whole lot about how Criterion does their business, do they always plaster "The Criterion Collection" over films they only have streaming rights to?

Or...are we looking at a possible set of future releases?

I picked up Fire Walk With Me today at the Noble.

But I'll be keeping the wrapping on for the full 30 days before I decide whether to return it.

I honestly can't think of a single compelling reason to keep it.

Except for that goddamn digipak.

...it is so freaking gorgeous.

It's gotta be an improvement over that trainwreck of an Entire Mystery. I can't understand how that thing passed quality control.

At B&N, the return period is only 14 days.
